As part of
the NETmc mediaNet range of products NETmc
introduces the mediaSHOW multi-channel programmable digital video player software.
Created with the content producer in mind the mediaSHOW adopts a user-friendly
approach to managing multi-channel MPEG playback lists for use at display
venues.
Utilising the
mediaNET approach to data asset management
the mediaSHOW can import lists from comma derivative databases, doing away
with the need to type long text lists to produce your playback material. Data
can be imported into category or event folders, automatically adding the paths
to the media clips in the database.
Access to your
media clips is achieved via event selection or by the media searching facility,
where you can search by date, category, text, country etc. This facility quickly
gives you the power of instant playback management allowing you to schedule
each media event quickly and easily. Media clips and complete events can be
watched on your SVGA or through a monitor, or even simultaneously depending
on the MPEG decoder you are using. There is even a facility to help you to
add banners, logos, or merely black spacer sequences at the start, in between
or at the end of your selections. All of these utilities are run from the
user-friendly interface to enable virtually anyone to manipulate the software
regardless of their PC experience and once your events have been saved then
you simply allow mediaSHOW to take over.
With the ability
to attach video servers or RAID sub systems in order to store your media clips
the mediaSHOW is as versatile as you want it to be.
